Liam (Arnie I'll be back) is a no nonsense,
tough tackling, motivating machine. If you tell him to mark a player then the
opponent might as well be in the same shorts as Liam because he will not get
away from him. He has played mainly in defence this season but on a few
occasions has come on in the midfield and plugged a few gaps nicely.
Liam
has been with us for most of our existence as a team and started off in goal (he
was very good too). He has been bashed about by opponents on many occasions, but
just gets on with the game. During one cup quarter final Liam decided to head
the speeding boot of his team-mate Tunde, the result was a trip to the hospital
and a bloodied and bruised face (some say it improved his looks only
kidding Liam).
You can often hear Liams cry to his team 'come on Aztec,
it's still 0-0. This cry usually comes just after we have scored our eighth goal
(we know what you mean Liam). When all is said and done, if you need a solid,
tough tackling player to back you up (which every good team needs), the Liam is
your man. Remember Liam, 'it's still 0-0.
