Benn has joined Aztec this season from one of our deadly rivals
Westhamians. He has played the majority of his games at left back to cover a
problem position for us. He has also played, and is more effective, on the left
side of midfield. Like Andrew he is very quiet and does not shout a lot. Benn
has great battling qualities and the deadliest left foot in the squad. Very
skilful and intelligent with the ball, he has brought another dimension to Aztec
in the 98/99 season.
Benn played for Westhamians earlier on in the
season when they beat Aztec 1-2 (Benn, you plonker), but has since signed up for
Aztec and his inclusion has been a major factor in Aztec securing third place in
the Echo League B division, thus keeping up their proud record of finishing in
the top three in the last three seasons.
